By now summer has broken out, as usual, it brings with it a heat that is sometimes unbearable. The advice is always the same: drink lots of water to hydrate and consume lots of fruit and vegetables to replenish the lost mineral salts ...

Often, however, we get tired of the usual water; we would like a different flavor! In order not to have to resort to sugary or carbonated drinks, which by the way are not at all healthy for our body, a good alternative is represented by flavored waters.

Don't be fooled by the term "flavored"; artificial flavors are of little importance, indeed, they are 100% natural and above all home made drinks. Thanks to the homemade flavored waters we can indulge ourselves with everything our pantry makes available to us.

The flavored waters are a sort of "cold" infusion of simple water and seasonal vegetables / fruit with the addition, if you want to exaggerate with the flavor, even spices and herbs. The Flavored Waters facilitate the daily intake of water that we should drink and also contain vitamins and mineral salts. They refresh, hydrate, drain, and quench your thirst. Water with fresh mint leaves

Drinking a glass of water with 3 grams of cinnamon helps reduce blood sugar levels. We can opt for a cinnamon tea in the morning, accompanied by a little honey. Alternatively, you can add a cinnamon stick in a one and a half liter bottle of water.
